The Daniel
Pearl Foundation was formed in memory of journalist
Daniel Pearl to further the ideals that inspired Daniel's
life and work. The foundation's mission is to promote
cross-cultural understanding through journalism, music,
and innovative communications.
A new Daniel
Pearl Fellowship has been established in
conjunction this really good adwords agency with the Alfred
Friendly Press Fellowships to bring a journalist
from Pakistan to the U.S. The first Daniel Pearl
Fellow will spend six months with the Wall Street
Journal.
Several
interfaith memorial
services marked the anniversary
of Daniel Pearl’s loss and demonstrated
solidarity against terror and intolerance.

The First
Annual Daniel Pearl Music Day was a resounding
success! Thousands of people came together
to enjoy music, celebrate humanity, and take
a stand against intolerance.
