A Tribute to Daniel Pearl

Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl was slain by terrorists in Karachi, Pakistan in early 2002.  His father, Dr. Judea Pearl, is president of The Daniel Pearl Foundation which was formed to promote the positive values of peace through dialogue and understanding and thereby fight the hatred that took Daniel’s life.

Dr. Pearl, professor of Computer Science & Statistics, UCLA, is known internationally for his research contribution in artificial intelligence, human cognition & philosophy of science. He is the recipient of numerous scientific awards. He is committed to inter-faith harmony among Jews and Muslims.
